Pastor Ezekiel Atang is the 4th child born into the family of Lt. Cdr. Friday and Head-Sister Rebecca Friday Atang. He hails from Ikot Udota in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.
He had his primary education in Nigerian Navy Primary school, Apapa, Malu road, Lagos. He began his secondary education at Etinan Institute and concluded from the prestigious Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene.
He proceeded to the University of Calabar where he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Marketing.
